The centralizer is made of steel, which has five bulgy parts on it to produce enough force to fix the hollow anchor rod in the correct direction during installation of the self-drilling rock bolt into the rock mass. The following are the key points of operation:
1. The centralizer should be installed on the hollow anchor rod prior to connecting the cut rods using couplers.
2. Typically, the centralizer is positioned in the middle portion of the hollow anchor rod.
3. Maintain the hollow anchor rod in the correct direction throughout the operation.
4. The centralizer is designed to provide a minimum 20.0 mm grout cover around the self-drilling rock bolt.
